Without out it the number of modules you can put on the screen is limited. Just fix it or remove it from the list. ### 2/5 — Cool, but Broken *2020-12-02, version 2.0* Overpriced considering it's apparently not actively developed anymore. Long-standing bugs remain unfixed, such as when attempting to load an inter-app audio plugin from within zMors Modular, the apps list freezes and the device gets hot (confirmed on an iOS10 iPad and iOS14 iPhone), and some modules simply won’t load (such as the macro module). The stuff that does work, works well, but overall not recommended unless you can get it on sale. ### 5/5 — Amazing app! *2019-11-30, version 2.0* It’s really great way to get into modular. You can have as many modules as you want and connect them in any chains you like. High quality sound. It’s not as granular as Audulus, but I realized Audulus is just too complicated for me. I mean at the end of the day I want to make music in reasonable amount of time, and have easy and pleasant to use UI. zMors Modular has a lot of existing modules and even that can take some time to build a complex setup. But that’s why I got it ;) Only one request I have is: when moving the modules even a little bit, if you’re zoomed in, then the whole interface zooms out completely. It’s kind of annoying feature, and if it would be possible to disable this, the app would simply be flawless!! ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2019-10-07, version 2.0* My only complaint is this being audio host only (AUv3), please try to turn this into an AUv3 instrument! Ripplemaker is a fantastic app to get going, and is a great teaching tool for getting to ZMors. If you want to get into iOS modular, this is the app you need. We need to support crazy developers like this! ### 5/5 — What? *2016-08-27, version 1.7* Constant major updates to the best implementation of modular that exists for iOS (sorry moog, but this is how modular SHOULD be presented on a touch screen) ### 5/5 — Brilliant! *2016-06-03, version 1.6* This is really a fantastic piece of software. The sound quality is great, the potential for sound creation is enormous. You are just limited by your CPU and imagination. The modules seem to be optimized for good CPU efficiency while maintaining high sound quality. All the standard modules you would need seem to be here. In addition, there are quite a few cool and more esoteric modules to play with too. Plenty of connectivity with AU and IAA host modules, MIDI support, ability to host a PureData patch inside, as well as Ableton Link. The app has been very stable for me. The interface is also great! The touch-screen cable-patching paradigm has been well thought out in ZMORS so that the workflow remains fast and the screen can be kept organized and uncluttered. This inspires me to keep on creating, adding more modules, discover and learn new things. If you enjoy sonic explanation, and have a bit of experience with a modular synthesizer (or want to learn), ZMORS has much to offer. It is still being actively developed too, and has a roadmap. So it's going to get even better! I am really enjoying this masterfully-crafted app. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Significant AU, MIDI/CV Updates *2016-04-25, version 1.6* The ability to communicate between CV and MIDI modules in the app and with other apps and hardware, make this app really standout. You can get some great MIDI sequences going using the various sequencer modules. A great tool for creating soundscapes or generative music. The addition of the AU module is nice as you can take advantage of the low CPU usage of AU apps in your modular creations. With each update, the developer continues to add significant new functionality to his app that often can't be found in any other apps. It is well documented with descriptions for each module built into the app. ### 5/5 — Brilliant and sounds amazing. Intense presets, more *2016-04-02, version 1.5* The wallpaper background changer makes it the most personalized one on the App Store, the sound is as good or better than the rest of the modulars I've tried and the support was responsive. I emailed the dev when the cloud import function wasn't working and got a personal reply.
