Zoho Assist is backed by a large corporation with full-time development and customer support, and as part of a wide ranging suite of support applications. It’s here for the long haul. It doesn’t hurt that it’s inexpensive, easy to use, massively secure with encryption and 2FA, and feature-rich. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your positive feedback. ### 3/5 — Kinda Buggy *2025-04-11* Got this app with the goal of being able to view my computer when away and make some simple changes. You are able to do a fair amount of things on the free plan if you are just using the app for yourself. However, the stream that I am seeing is insanely buggy and pressing a keyboard input freezes and/or crashes the app. Mouse clicks are also extremely delayed. The interface is user friendly and very helpful. I keep finding reviews from people who have been scammed online. Unfortunately, the scammer who targeted them selected Zoho Assist, just as they might have chosen TeamViewer, AnyDesk, LogMeIn, or any other platform. I sincerely empathize with the distressing experience you faced, but I urge everyone to move beyond this event and think rationally. Is it just to blame a tool that is meant to assist you due to your own inexperience in identifying online scammers? Is it right to speak negatively about Zoho Assist simply because it was misused by unscrupulous people? Designed to streamline the computer repair process, Zoho Assist allows users to avoid the hassle of taking their devices to a shop and waiting for extended periods. Instead, it offers remote assistance, which can be a significant time and cost saver. However, the potential for misuse is an unfortunate reality that extends beyond the tech industry, affecting areas like medicine, where drugs can be misused, and politics, where power can be misappropriated. The interface is user friendly and very helpful. I just read that some people have been scammed and that the person who tricked them used this app. But I don’t see how this is the app’s fault…🤨 This happens with every remote app. Either is anydesk team viewer, etc Unfortunately there’s a bunch of malicious individuals who dedicate their entire time to do this sort of thing. First one booted everyone back to sign up/sign in screen with neither button working. Absolutely no resolution from Zoho, until they released a second update-which completely black screens everyone's app. Completely unusable even on the newest IOS, newest phone/ipads, reinstalling the app and restarting the devices. Will be switching to a company that respects its customers' time and money and won't try and cut corners with this cheap vibe coded garbage. I have also used it for remote support quite a bit. With the extra keyboard on the iPad it’s really easy to move around and work remotely. The screen auto adjusts to the resolution nicely.
