Stick with google. Even though I dislike google’s principles, they still have the best cloud storage and fairly decent e-mail. I like Zoho e-mail, but this cloud storage app doesn’t even qualify as average. If it doesn’t sync properly, then what’s the point? ### 2/5 — Absent Customer Service *2018-12-06, version 5.21* I used this app years ago for what I thought to be excellent file/doc sharing and figured I’d revisit this tool to use again for my business. Unfortunately, I no longer have the email address used for log-in although I still have docs in the tool. I contacted customer service only to end up being directed to a voicemail since “all of their customer service agents are currently busy” all of the time. I was prepared to use their services in which I’d pay to use, but if customer service is like this, it sends a HUGE buyer beware for this. I’m actually very concerned (especially since someone else now owns the email address that I formerly had). ### 3/5 — Can't see shared folders *2017-05-28, version 5.9.5* Can't see shared folders on mobile app, can you fix? ### 2/5 — Crashes but it used to be great. *2016-03-29, version 5.5* It used to be a great app but now it crashes all the time. It won't work since I did the IOS 9 update on my iPhone. It flashes open and immediately closes. Please fix it! Shouldn't this have been a primary motive for this app? Every time I attempt to upload a document from my phone it creates an error message. Crashes, crashes and nothing else. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Expect frozen at in opportune times *2021-09-02, version 6.7* Google “Zoho stuck loading” and such and you will learn all you need to know. This is for both Docs (aka their Drive) and their email. Mine has spun and not allowed access for hours including my restarting my phone. I have NEVER experienced this with Google Drive. Their solution is always to have you email them your account details so they can probe around your files. Apparently, there is never a global fix. I have uninstalled the app; ideally when I reinstall, I might gain access to my files again. ### 1/5 — Not as Exoected *2019-07-25, version 5.22* It doesn't let you edit. When you ask why, they push you towards work drive which was curved out broie it,..., well could do anything -- in other words doesn't work. ### 1/5 — Don't waste your time *2018-05-19, version 5.17* This app is completely pointless. You have to download a separate app to edit docs, plus it doesn't have the option for offline use. Even worse most of the time the docs can't open and have a "try again at a later time" message. All I did was close the app, go to bed and the next morning when I opened the app all the documents were blank. Hours of work wasted. This is by far the biggest issue obviously, if you can't trust your work will be there how can you even think about using this app. I won't even go into the other areas of improvement, what's the point. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2016-03-25, version 5.5* This app used to be quite good for accessing docs but the most recent update has made this app useless. Tap the app and it crashes. Please fix this app! ### 1/5 — Crashes! *2016-01-18, version 5.5* Every time I try to open a document, it loads for a little bit the crashes. Even after completely closing the app and trying again, it still happens, so this app is basically unusable. ### 1/5 — Can't open it!! *2015-12-07, version 5.5* After the last update, the app became unusable for me. I have a password on it and now the password entry screen comes up but there is no keypad to type it in! I can no longer access the files from my phone, only from my computer. HUGE oversight! Fix this!! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Huh *2020-01-25, version 6.4* I don’t get the negative reviews. I’ve used Zoho apps for a couple of years. Couldn’t be happier. Syncs across all platforms and browsers seamlessly. I highly recommend all: email, calendar, spreadsheet, writer, and notebook. ### 5/5 — Very useful *2016-04-19, version 5.6* This is a well designed app that makes it easy to manage your Zoho documents and folders. It even lets you view detailed documents properties, change sharing and security of documents, etc. It is highly useful on both iPhone and iPad (Pro). Even though I am giving it 5 stars, I think there is still room for improvement. The biggest missing feature (and I know this is difficult): You cannot edit the contents of spreadsheets using the app. Editing of spreadsheets must be done through a full (desktop-class) web browser or other software.
