Real shame it’s not 2nd edition compatible. you can use it with the 2nd edition board, just not the 2nd edition gameplay. ### 2/5 — App not designed for any current phone with notches *2023-04-22, version 3.6.8* Pretty much every phone has a notch. This app allows for a much more organized game and allows you to add on more game characters and cards from other expansion packs for a small price which I don’t mind. My complaints are there are not enough updates to the game. Not all the expansion can be found in game, specifically the TMNT expansion. I feel like the game should have a copy of the rule book. There should be a toggle option so you can turn off certain characters you don’t have in real life so you wont have to cycle through so many just to find the one you want. This is a paid app and should given more attention from the developers. ### 3/5 — Solid but needs the ultimate characters *2020-12-31, version 3.6.8* I have used this app for a while and am pleased with it. However, it would be much more useful if all of the material/expansions were available. I’m specifically referring to the addition of the ultimate characters, and the experience deck. The addition of custom characters would be the cherry on top. I am willing to pay for these additions if they continued along the previous pricing. ### 3/5 — Decent app *2020-08-31, version 3.6.8* This app is decent, let’s you keep track of a lot of things that I find tedious to do physically. It saves a lot of table space vs the character cards. After each round it doesn’t automatically move to the next survivor but starts with the same one each time. Very tedious to change back and forth manually. Also issue with iPhone notch covering some buttons ### 4/5 — Great companion app *2020-07-30, version 3.6.8* I love Zombicide and have only recently got into it. This app allows you to play quickly without getting all the cards and dice out. Tracking your xp is easy and the sound effects add to the experience. Only hope they update to include the new figures available on Kickstarter. ### 2/5 — Great potential with a couple of bugs *2020-07-26, version 3.6.8* My family just recently got Zombicide after playing it with friends. Fantastic game. The app is nice that it frees up precious table space but it does have a couple of bugs - such as the tap and drag mechanic not always working, sometimes item cards disappear when dragging to your inventory, sometimes mobiles are not able to see games being hosted. It could also use a tutorial explaining icons and such - had to figure out the attack UI which was difficult. ### 4/5 — Great companion app but *2018-12-22, version 3.6.6* Having to pay for expansions is a bit of a con after we’ve all overpaid for cardboard and little plastic figures!. ### 4/5 — I like it *2018-01-28, version 3.6.4* The app makes for a much less messy table when you can manage all the survivors on devices instead, it is a bit annoying though to invite friends over to play and ask them to spend $2.99 on an app to be a part of the fun when they don’t own the actual game. They do it reluctantly though. The main issue we have though is when the someone gets out of the app to check something else on their phone they have to reconnect or re”join game” I wouldn’t have any problem with it if it would work right, when transferring characters back to their device it screws up the order when it’s showing as someone’s turn on my device it shows as someone else’s turn on theirs it’s a bug that needs to be fixed, it would also be nice to add the option to rearrange player order while in game as well as remove players in game and just. I enjoy the app it just needs some fixin. ### 4/5 — Pretty good, don’t like that I have to double pay. *2018-01-28, version 3.6.4* This app is a pretty decent companion to the board game, seems like it will function well. I just don’t like that I have to pay extra for in app purchases to get the content from expansion packs which I already paid good money for, to get the physical expansion pack with the real cards and game pieces. The company should figure out some sort of voucher code system that you can submit proof of purchase of the expansion packs to get the content for free in the app if you have already purchased the actual product. ### 4/5 — Awesome (but not covering Black Pague) *2017-04-02, version 3.6* I really do love this app. Makes the board game very easy to manage. Love it. No cards/dice needed. App has built-in card features and explanations so everything is just a click away. I just bought Black Plague, but the app does not include this game/expansions... will this be added soon? I hope so. It would make my review a 5 for sure. ### 3/5 — I Guess It's OK *2017-03-18, version 3.6* I really just got it for Black Plague and it's expansions and addons, but those are not in this app. So unless you're looking for vanilla Zombicide and it's expansions and addons, look elsewhere. ### 4/5 — Great App but missing my favorite Survivors *2017-01-29, version 3.6* Great app, super helpful but needs the ultimate survivors so I can use the better version of Wanda, also the artist series would be cool so I could use Maki ### 2/5 — Great idea, poor execution *2016-12-28, version 3.6* Great idea and would definitely be awesome with the game. However, there are two issues (one major) that make it unusable. 1) The major issue: every time we have tried playing the host/server has got out of track with the other players. This means that when the hosts app says it is another players turn, and the other players say it's the hosts turn, you have to end the game. (Nb our host used an iPad while everyone else was on their iPhone). 2) if you flip to another app e.g. To check a text you get booted off the app. It would be so much better if you could stay logged in as invariably you will use your phone for other things mid game. But the app doesn’t work. It just says “Could not complete your purchase. Please check your App Store credentials”. I can't wait to download it! ### 5/5 — Doesn't work on iPad *2015-04-15, version 2.2.0* I am a huge fan of this app on the iPhone however it doesn't allow iPad users to add a survivor, meaning that the iPad can't be used as a player but only as a spectator. It shows the "Select Survivor" Option like it does in the iPhone so I assume that it is a bug with the iPad.
