No new guns are available. I have plenty of cash and gold. I continued to play the campaign for a while and managed to win even with an underpowered gun, however there’s a level where the gun is completely ineffective and does no damage at all - it’s like you’re shooting blanks and the zombies overrun you. You can rack up millions of dollars and tons of gold, it there simply isn’t a stronger weapon to purchase.
