## What is Zombie Rogue?

Zombie Rogue is a turn-based survival and strategy game. This zombie apocalypse roguelike to roguelite game is built for fast play and massive amounts of replay value.
Procedurally generated random levels and items mean that every time you play the game, it's a whole new experience.

WARNING:
In this game, you will die a lot, but it’s OK. You WILL get stronger and wiser. Trust me you can always do it better next time. Survival is all about strategy.

Scientists, workers, guards – all sorts of civilian personnel worked in the secret lab until recently. A week ago, a mayday signal is received from the lab. You wake up from unconsciousness, lost your memory.

“Who am I?” 
“Where am I from?” 
“It's time to descend into the very bottom of darkness and find out my memory.”

A deadly plague virus pandemic has turned the world into a residence of evil. Fight for survival in this dead zone full of unkilled zombies. You can trust only yourself. Be careful, many of those who were unturned by the deadly plague virus will pull a dead trigger on your back. 

The good news is, you are still alive.
The bad news is, YOU ARE INFECTED!

This is a great fun game once you learn it! BUT how on earth do you get the keys to open up the doors where you start out in the game before going down the levels? 
I’ve tried keeping all of the keys until rebirth, but didn’t work. 
What is it???

It’s difficult and unforgiving, but it has stayed in my phone almost as long as Chrome. :)
I have had to sort of piece together how to play and strategy to use, but keep coming back for more. Would love to see more features potentially added via update, but regardless it’s a blast!

“Gene collection” seems to be totally broken, unless the mechanic is something you reach at a later time. After four lives I have zero puzzle pieces. I beat the boss on level three hoping that’d be enough, but it seems like the game is currently broken.

This is very well executed. Simple and easy while still having strategy and depth. Took me a while to figure out how to earn the genetic points that carry over from game to game - I kind of think you should explain that.

I just wanted to share my enjoyment for this game. 
At first... it was kind of confusing... but after playing numerous games, Zombie Rogue has really opened up for me. You're an infected human, trying to keep from turning into a zombie (or... depending on how you play - trying to do everything you can do make yourself turn into a zombie as quickly as possible) - there's a TON of items to equip, throw, use, and in various different ways (for instance, you can use some anti-zombie serum to keep yourself from changing into a zombie, or you can throw the serum at zombies and turn them back into humans!). 
And... as is the case with most roguelikes - the more you play, the more you learn, and the better equiped you'll be to deal with everything your next time around. 
There's also a fairly large skill tree which helps you get further with each run. 
I... really can not say enough great things about this title. It's easily one of my favorite roguelikes released over the last few years. If you're a roguelike fan and have been disappointed by the vast majority of roguelikes released over the last few years - this is one you should definitely check out. 

At $0.99 - it's a real steal. I would have been very happy paying $5-$8 for a game of this quality.

Been having a blast. Great take on the rogue genre and though I have just started there is a lot a variability in enemies and loot.

This is a great start for a game. As a fan of rpgs and rogue like games, especially with a horror / zombie theme it’s awesome. But I’m not seeing any benefits or rewards out of grinding dying and repeating as far as I’ve seen.
1. Money doesn’t carry over when you die
2. The puzzle pieces stuff for the upgrades to your character, I have yet to acquire any after several plays and leveling up , kills ect.

I like the concept but there needs to be a actual Benefit to all the grinding otherwise people will get tired of it real quick since there seems to be no actual way to advance and upgrade because let’s face it . To make a game replay-able people like upgrades and things they can grind for.
