Tried going FTP and the grind/difficulty made progress feel glacially slow. I decided to invest in one of the S-class weapons and found that it did indeed help my progress. I built my my character around the electrical element and it was effective enough that I was able to progress further at a pace I was comfortable with. Lately though, I have noticed a -significant- drop in frequency of electric upgrades appearing during my runs. This is not a complaint. It is an observation of a pattern. The other elemental upgrades…fire and ice…continue to pop up with their usual frequency. Electrical upgrades have become rare to the point where i’ve gone entire runs without seeing a single electrical upgrade appear, much less the full four to max out the skill. I didn’t expect my investment to guarantee ultimate success forever. I did expect appearance rates to remain stable enough that my character remains viable. Prioritization of cash over game experience hurts a lot of decent games. I’m not surprised to see it happening yet again. I'm out 🫡 ### 3/5 — Short lived fun then grind *2026-06-20* I have played for 5-6 weeks and within the past couple weeks it seems more like a login to collect stuff then return in a few hours. What starts out as a lot of promising upgrades ends up being short lived. Levels get really tough quickly without spending. The game does not have a re-roll feature for traits so you sometimes have to play the same level a few times before you can get the right combination of traits that vibe with the gun to complete the level. The game play has glitches that remove life without being hit. The upgrades provide menial advantage and spending money on them makes no difference. Especially with rapid fire attacks which simply stopped working and it is only firing one shot at a time and very slowly. I worked my way up and even spent some money but now whenever I go to fire-rate level four, it glitches out and stops shooting all I gave is my gun perk doing a lightning strike once every three seconds no actual bullets just a lightning bolt. Needless to say, I stopped and restarted a few times, but it just keeps happening. I love the game however, Can we please get a re-roll function when picking skills in-game. It’s infuriating when I get three rounds of skills on a hard level and not get any skills I want. Also, make it more common to get skills you have already selected. It sucks getting to the second boss and having 7 skills and not to be able to get the skill booster. Also a balance between the characters. As of right now the lightning guy overpowers all. Get those fixed and I’ll up to 5 stars. Same goes with the stats on weapons as well.. you make it very hard to build up your power .. A way to get access to our email addresses, which no doubt is going to be kept safe and not at all sold to anyone or used in any nefarious way. What the heck is this developer doing? The game has been ruined from what it was, impossible to advance without money which all truth be told wouldn’t help anyway, then they want to connect to your Facebook account and now they want your email address. What a shady developer. There is no way you’re going to get any info and absolutely no money. Uninstalling and never installing anything you make. They will nerf anything you buy to sell you “better” equipment. ### 1/5 — Fraudulent. *2026-07-07* The game can be fun. No doubt about that. It was quickly taking over any other game for priority… until. The issue is they encourage real money purchases, get them, then change everything to render those useless. Worse, they at the exact same time, introduce new items clearly made to mitigate their damaging changes to encourage more money spending. It’s a very predatory bait and switch tactic that isn’t even being hidden. It is blatant. It is now up to Apple to pull apps like this one for clearly fraudulent practices and tactics while providing refunds for the apps they have allowed to exist in their App Store. Changes are to be expected, balancing, correcting VFX issues, or even changing systems for better understanding. The practices here look like that on the surface but doing it with the introduction of new items to spend on, mitigating those changes, is a much darker issue. This isn’t the typical behavior you find in other games. This is clear cut fraud the developers aren’t even trying to hide. I don’t tend to review. I choose to spend or not and I need to take accountability for that. This is distinctly different which is why I’m making a review. This is scam level practices rather than the normal power creeps added over time. Folks spent, and an app update with zero mentions of the changes, ripped the benefit from them for new items curated to mitigate the changes. It’s dishonest, dirty, and shouldn’t be accepted. For Apple it shouldn’t be allowed to exist on their App Store, doing so is a nod to this grotesque and obvious practice. While I hate to admit more honest power creeps as normal stuff and decent, this is anything but. It is pushing that idea in an entirely new predatory way that should not only be unacceptable to users but outright banned by Apple. Recent updates have made me stray from the game, I’ve logged into daily, spent countless hours grinding and spend countless dollars. Nerfs to drones that either changes their ability to not fit your build, make the past several months/dollars seem all for nothing. The pay to win is required these days, VIP, events, and chest opening are blatant money grabs. You aren’t leveling up VIP this century unless you spend hundreds to thousands of dollars per tier ie: tier 6 is like 15k to advance to tier 7, tier 7 is 40k you only get 70 points daily unless you buy 99$ bundles that get you 10k. Events use to be fairly easy to get through without spending $100 now to get in the reward pool it’s practically impossible with the money. Attachment and drone boxes: better drops rates are locked behind a system like the VIP, 99 dollars get you 400 pulls, that’s just a drop in the massive bucket that is required to advance tiers. It can be 1000, 2500, 5000 and probably the last two tiers will be in the 10s or 15-20k. Being that there is two different boxes be ready to spend that twice now. I wanted to quit last update because the removed a lot of items from non pay2play players and this new update today, pushed me over the edge. Spent time and effort on some items, building them up and they completely ruined it today after so much effort. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE UPDATES AND DID TOU GUYS RUN IT BY THE COMMUNITY?? So it plays the same way from level 1 as level 60, 70, 100 it doesn’t matter. Need a tutorial on how to keep leveling up. Hints on what weapons and drones and skills are best for a level you might be struggling on. Monsters litter the map and it’s your job to clean up. There are fun side games along the way as you’re waiting for your energy to refill. Unlike most mobile games you get what is advertised. Right now I am at level 30 and I haven’t found a need to pay outside of paying to remove ads. I haven’t felt my game or progress suffer because of it.
