It was fun at the beginning but I started to run out of room for all the animals. I’m at rank 16 and don’t think there’s anymore expansions of land left. It would be fun if we could complete the zoo guide but I have all the animals now and it looks like I have to get 30 or more of each to complete the zoo guide which just won’t fit on the map or will take too long 😭 I think it should be capped at 20. As someone who likes to fully complete the games I found it a bit frustrating. 5/10 ### 3/5 — The exploration negociations is repetitive and boring *2025-02-16, version 1.19* For all the players that tried nippon cafe, when you negotiate in the mini game to have special enployees , it’s the same process here to find the animals for the zoo. I find it incredibly boring and difficult. But you absolutely need to do it to have animals. There is not much to do and the game is slower pacing than the others I tried . I have around 20 Kairosoft games, this is isn’t bad but it definitely is smaller and shouldn’t be sold at a full normal price. ### 4/5 — Feels a little too easy *2024-11-21, version 1.19* Enjoyable, but not quite the difficulty level I’ve come to expect from Kairosoft games. ### 4/5 — Aimed at a younger audience? *2024-09-12, version 1.19* This feels like it’s aimed at a young audience. Love the pay once - no micro transactions :-) It isn’t as complex as other Kairosoft titles. It introduces animals from around the world. You learn a bit about what they eat and their environment. You feed and exercise the animals to make them happy. Recruit new animals by befriending them. Pair male and female, they will have children (you see them standing on top of one another and soon a child is spawned). This particular game is super cute with all of the animals. I wish it was clear how to switch out the animals you use for explorations. I also wish it was easier to expand the animal enclosures when you have too many animals in one pen. Overall, I think the gameplay is pretty straight forward. You spend a lot of time bored because their real “shop” only opens once a year. And you’ll be 3/5 stars into the game and still negative money most of the time, without even enough to destroy a buying or move a building… For $1.99 it might be worth it but this is NOT one of the kairosoft $4.99 games. Despite having great themes, the numerous bugs and lack of fine detailing that result in poor gameplay have been a great disappointment. It’s not too intense with its mechanics so I find it easy to play. The animal sprites are adorable and it’s fun trying to layout your zoo in a way that gets all the combos! Shallow gameplay. Not much to do at all. The Zoo always looks ugly due to the rectangular-only constructing and way too few buildings to choose from. Really boring and slow. And I won't even start about the poor message of the game. Go on expedition, hunt yourself an animal and put it in a small nasty empty cage in order to have it touched by guests.…..
