### 4/5 — Good but not gonna occupy them for long.

*2015-01-28, version 3.6*

Good for short term entertainment for the 2/3 yo toddler. My daughter was enthusiastic about the drag and drop 'complete the picture' game but once the 7 or 8 pictures are done, they cycle through the same ones over again. The suitcase sticker reward was a winner though. The steam whistle organ held her interest for about 3 minutes. The drag and drop letters on the train game was fine but I think small children have an educational value sensor which means that as soon as my daughter realised that there may be some learning going on, enough was had. The 'drag the track pieces to complete the layout' was ok and she quite liked the build your own train game. This game is good for teaching your small children how to use a touch sensitive screen with a bit of education and entertainment thrown in. About an hour and a halfs worth before it starts to pale a wee bit but worth the money.

### 2/5 — HELP!!!

*2015-01-21, version 3.5*

Only 3 of the 5 games work. My son likes it but is so disappointed that he can't play all of it. Fix it or I want a refund!

### 2/5 — Don't update

*2015-01-12, version 3.5*

The most recent update (~Jan 8, 2015) messed the whole app up. It now crashes, you can't access all the games, and the graphics on the build-a-track game are messed up. This app was great for toddlers but it needs to be fixed as my son (and I) get frustrated with it

### 4/5 — Mostly puzzles, but like the whistle scale very much!

*2014-10-27*

I like that we can touch a pic and the whistles will play a matching tune, uninterrupted by tot pressing other whistles. And yet, as a bonus, the whistles they touch also sound during song playback. There is also free play on one octave.

Sometimes the puzzle pieces don't snap in place as easily as others, adding difficulty for tots. Small skinny pieces must be almost all the way in place to accept. Bigger ones are accepted with greater distance. Track curves that should fit on any curve in that position won't be accepted if they overlap straights which were not available in piece choices for first several moves. Somewhat frustrating.

Hate that touching letters doesn't produce anything...should say name or preferably phonetic sound. Phonics trump letter names...how can a tot learn to read "cow" if told "see-oh-double-U"?

### 5/5 — Toddler approved

*2014-02-24, version 2.1*

My 2 year old son loves this app. He just turned two and can do all the areas with no problem. He I see him play with this app several times a day having fun with it. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — "My son asks for this app"

*2014-01-12*

First thing I hear each time the iPad comes out - "ain!" My 2 year old loves this app. At first, he mainly played with the section that lets you build a train and watch it go by. Now, after a few months, he accesses all sections only needing a little help the the track puzzles.

As a parent, I love this app as well for its educational qualities. A must buy for any child that loves trains!

### 5/5 — Educational, Fun App

*2013-12-31, version 2.1*

I have this on my phone for my 2 yr old grandson and he loves it! Asks to play it all the time. He can do most by himself just needs some help with letters but that will come soon.

### 1/5 — Good graphics - NO SOUND

*2013-11-30, version 2.1*

My granddaughter was so upset when the games were without sound.

### 4/5 — Son loves it

*2013-11-29, version 2.1*

I think it is a pity that the animals are not more animated, but my two year old loves it and keeps on choosing this app even though two of the four games are too hard for him.

### 5/5 — :-)

*2013-11-25, version 2.1*

My 18 months girl loves it!

### 5/5 — Love this app but sound quit working

*2024-02-12*

All 4 of my kids played this one when they were little over the last 12 years. It teaches them shape recognition in the puzzles, letters, identifying sounds in a song. Lots of fun! The sound quit working all of a sudden though!

My 2 year old LOVES this app. Building the trains is definitely his favorite part (solo), but he likes the puzzles and track laying (with help).

I'm so thankful there were instructions to get the sound to work. We played it on our kindle first and really missed the sounds!

### 5/5 — Love this game!

*2014-12-15, version 3.0*

This is an amazing game for 3-4 year olds! Teaches letters, coordination, puzzles and love the musical whistles - !! A great game.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-04-01, version 2.1*

My toddler no longer says 'iPad!', just 'zoo train!'. This has been his favourite app for months, and we don't mind him playing it as it's very educational too. Friends and family could hardly believe their eyes as a 20-month old put letters in the right order to form words, and this is the only place he's learnt it! Thanks.
