## What is Zood?

Zood (زود) means "quick". It teaches the Persian people really speak in Tehran, fast, from the alphabet to meeting your partner's family.

SPEED-RUN THE COURSE
• 21 units, 66 two-minute lessons, 532 words and phrases, 200 sentences
• Colloquial Tehrani first, with the formal written form shown next to it
• No lives and no paywall. Mistakes come back once, then you move on
• Already speak some? Tap Skip to test out of any unit, or mark a word "Already know it"

DRILLS THAT STICK
• Pick the meaning, pick the Farsi, listen and choose, match pairs, and build sentences from tiles
• Every word and sentence has Persian audio. Hold the speaker for slow playback
• Romanization ("finglish") on every word, with a guide to reading it. Turn it off once you can read the script
• Learn all 32 letters of the Persian alphabet in six short rounds

REAL-LIFE TOPICS
Greetings and taarof, numbers and money, food, family, feelings, plans, compliments, and how to charm the in-laws over dinner.

TRANSLATOR
Tap the mic and let them talk. Zood turns spoken Farsi into English text, sentence by sentence as they pause, or all at once when you stop. It runs a speech model on your iPhone, so nothing you record is uploaded. Needs iPhone 13 or newer and a one-time 950 MB download.

PHRASEBOOK
Search every word and phrase in English, Persian script or finglish.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. Lessons, audio and phrases work fully offline.
