Items are often damaged or missing and the help line seems disinterested or unable to resolve the issues. When items aren’t delivered but are charged a 72 hour “investigation” doesn’t really cut it when you are supposed to deliver within 60 minutes. Spent twenty minutes going through and finding everything. Had to scroll down to check ingredients as I have allergies. Took a while. I go to put the code in and… “Sorry, we can not process your voucher code at this time” the code was DINNER20, valid to today. So they’re relying on sunk cost fallacy to get me to pay anyway. Screw you. You’ve just alienated a customer who’ll never use your services. ### 1/5 — Awful delivery *2025-10-24* Whilst I love the concept of zoom and I have used them several times for convenience, but the delivery is horrendous and I have several deliveries cancelled a few minutes before the items are due, deliveries hours late with items missing and not reported, and delivery drivers asking me to go and meet them in random places near my apartment because they don’t want to deliver to your door. This would be a great app and service if they would change how they deliver or who they contract with to deliver (Uber and Deliveroo, I think). Given that this is owned by Ocado group I’m really surprised that they allow such poor delivery service. On the flipside whenever anything goes wrong the customer services via email is very supportive. **Developer response:** Hello there, and thanks for your review. It’s unbelievable and my order arrived 4 HOURS LATER on a Sunday evening. The customer agent said I won’t be charged because of this long waiting time. Yet I was charged and now they’re backtracking on what they’ve said. Ocado zoom is providing a v convenient alternative filling the gap between the astronomically priced <1hr delivery services and the mainstream supermarket offering.
