## Most critical reviews (9 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2011-12-29, version 1.1*

Do not buy unless the bug is fixed. Should have read the reviews before purchasing...

### 1/5 — Help!!!

*2011-11-25, version 1.1*

Ever since the iPhone/iPad system upgrade it force closes!!! It's just awful now.... Please fix!!!

### 2/5 — Crashes!

*2011-12-14, version 1.1*

I love the game itself, but since the ios5 upgrade it crashes anytime a wrong selection is made. I'm thinking of deleting it, but I paid three bucks for it. So lately it's just been taking up space in my games folder.

### 4/5 — Set? Not quite.

*2012-10-22, version 1.2*

I was looking for an app of Set, the best solitaire game ever. This is close. I like the customizable options, and the hint. I only gave it 4 stars because a way to rearrange the cards would be awesome. Not just a shuffle, but maybe organized by number of shapes. That's how I always played with Set.

### 4/5 — technical difficulties

*2011-10-23, version 1.1*

I really like this game, but it's not working with the new iPhone 5 upgrade. Didn't see any actual support on the Zotz! support page.

### 5/5 — My favorite in-flight entertainment

*2016-11-23, version 1.5*

This is just what I need when it's that part of the day (or that part of a flight) where my energy is dwindling. After a game or two, I'm invigorated and feel slightly smarter. (Disclaimer: I'm the editor of a couple of his books, which means I'm used to giving him honest feedback, which at the moment is just my wish for an iPad version.)

### 5/5 — Simple yet challenging

*2010-12-10*

Although the rules of Zotz! are quite simple, and it is a challenging game/puzzle. The app is well-designed and easy to use. My only (minor) complaint is that the appearance is rather bland, especially the uninspiring icon. A glossier look to the "cards" and a simple, attractive icon would go a lomng way towards attracting customers to Zotz!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2010-07-30, version 0*

This is an attractive (and customizable!) game; the perfect combo of requiring some thought and quick gameplay. Great when you just need to kill a few minutes, but makes you think enough to stay interesting. Once you get the concept, it's fun! (Nice to be able to change the colors.) Once in a while it seems like you're stuck, but there has always been a solution!

### 5/5 — Make me think, why don'tcha?

*2010-03-01, version 0*

I like to think I'm especially good at pattern matching, but my first few minutes with Zotz! convinced me that I'm a rank amateur. This requires a little THINKING, but that's a GOOD thing. Got a few minutes to kill? Don't stare at the TV, or you'll be killing neurons along with time. Stare at Zotz! and you'll be giving those neurons a little exercise.
