## What is Zplayer music player?

Zplayer Audiophile music player
Zplayer is a no-compromise music player built for audiophiles who keep their FLAC and DSD library on a
WebDAV server. No transcoding, no resampling, no cloud lock-in — just bit-perfect playback from your own
  files.
  Bit-perfect playback
FLAC, ALAC, WAV and native DSD (DSF and DFF) play through the iOS audio path at their original sample rate
and bit depth, including hi-res 24-bit and DSD64/128. The Now Playing screen shows a "bit-perfect" badge
whenever the connected DAC is receiving the file untouched, and a tap on the badge reveals the full audio
path: file format, output sample rate, and route.
  Stream from your WebDAV server
Point Zplayer at any WebDAV share — Synology, NAS, Nextcloud, your own server — and your entire library is
available. Tags are read directly from the files using HTTP Range requests, so the first scan is fast and
there's no central database to keep in sync.
  Sync across devices
Favorites, play counts, ratings and the playback queue sync automatically between phone and tablet.
WebDAV credentials and API keys are stored in keychain, so a fresh install on a new device
is ready in seconds. The library cache is per-device, but everything you create — your taste — follows you.
  Watch ready
Now Playing controls appear on Watch out of the box. Play, pause, skip, scrub from your wrist.
  Built for collectors
  - Pressing identification: scan an OBI strip or barcode and certify which physical pressing of an album
you're listening to. (through 3rd party app)
  - Cover art download: fetch high-quality covers from Last.fm, Discogs and the Cover Art Archive, in batch or
   one tap at a time.
  - Dynamic Range analysis (DR14) (through 3rd party app)
  - Open albums in DrTagger or DrDoctor with a single tap.
  - Smart playlists, favorites, ratings, recently played.
  No subscription, no telemetry
Zplayer doesn't phone home. Your library, your data, your DAC.
