PC app is often signed out when I need it. Extreme complexity for something that should have 100% uptime. Sad :( ### 1/5 — Great printer, terrible software *2024-02-28, version 1.4.4882* I’ve used this for a couple of years now. The printer is fantastic. The labels, whilst pricy, are environmentally friendly and work very nicely too. The problem is the software. The requirement to be logged in to an app, that often forgets who you are across Windows, macOS and iOS. You can’t have more than one account per “tenant”. There are so many problems that it’s a struggle to list them all here. I don’t mind having an app to monitor labels or similar but as other reviews have said. This should be AirPrint capable, and not be behind a software wall to print on a local network. This is a disastrous implementation of software for great hardware. A real shame. ### 1/5 — Yep, it’s really that bad! *2024-02-26, version 1.4.4837* The app shouldn’t exist, it makes you think you can DO things with it! Web portal is the only way to use this printer, app does basically nothing. Also don’t try using the web portal on your phone unless you want to throw your phone against a concrete wall, as that is the inevitable outcome. When it works it takes you 30 min to set it up, when it doesn’t work…well that’s almost every time. Using because it is one of two barcode printers that work with shopify. It never works and on the occasion when it does - it will just stop printing. It then becomes impossible to get it to work again. I thought it being Bluetooth it would connect directly to my phone.. why do I need to sign in? I hate it with a passion. Seriously. I wanna break my phone and the printer every single time. Too bad I can’t get my money back because after the first time I though it was my error. Please DoNOT but this zebra Bluetooth printers. I was never able to get past this step. Tried initially 5 months ago and tried again today - still no luck. I’ve noticed the new update works much better from the older version with no crashing or disconnecting. Happy to see these improvements! ### 5/5 — Greatly improved since the earlier versions *2023-08-14, version 1.4.4047* Looks like the developer made some improvements in terms of stability. I used to get logged out constantly, but this version seems to work well. I’m able to send print jobs from anywhere through the app. Just bought a second ZSB printer for our other location, and it also looks like the setup process is also improved. Last time I had problems with Bluetooth, but it just works now. You can use your Apple or Google account to login, so really quick and easy to set up. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2022-09-08, version 1.4.2220* I have no problem using this app to create labels with easy to use templates. Great productivity enhancer. ### 4/5 — First Impressions Positive *2024-10-28, version 2.0.6714* There only appears to be negative reviews for this but so far I’ve had a positive first impression. Using an iPad to install the App it does require a ZBS account to be created but then followed the simple prompts setting up Bluetooth and then WiFi just worked and printed a test label. Using the 4x6XL label selecting the printer from within eBay “print postage label” was able to select the ZPS and printed succesfully. Time will tell on the disconnect issues but so far so good ### 3/5 — When it works, it works well *2022-06-10, version 1.3.1934* Overall when the app works, it makes processing and packing my orders very seamless.
