I had been waiting for this app to update for about 2 weeks if not longer, then when it is finally updated it won’t let me actually place a ride it just sends me back to the home+ work screen. ### 1/5 — Trash app *2026-04-30, version 38.1.2* Bro ztrip is so trash ### 1/5 — Scammy *2026-04-13* I downloaded the app and requested my very first ride, and a driver immediately claimed my ride, claimed to have finished it, and tried to say I owed him money, all within 30 seconds without coming near the pickup location. I called customer service and was basically told “lol too bad so sad.” The customer service agents were also extremely rude. The yellow cab industry loves to cry and whine about being pushed out by ride sharing, but THIS IS WHY. They deserve to be driven out of business and I hope they enjoy lying in the bed they made. ### 1/5 — DONT WASTE YOUR TIME *2026-04-11, version 4.4.4* Cant really rate the ride or anything because I waited for 40 minutes and when I finally got a driver they cancelled on me, and that happened 4 times in a row. Maybe the trip was shorter than they wanted to be. It takes too long to find rides, and then inside the ride its usually just not it. ### 1/5 — Pittsburgh Airport *2025-10-19, version 4.4.4* Last night at the Pittsburgh airport there were hundreds of Carnegie Mellon University students waiting for the 28X bus. And the students kept pushing in front of everybody to get in the bus. After waiting 40 minutes I went over to the ZZ cab. The driver said $50 to Mt Washington. I had a cold so I wanted to get home. the driver had the front windows down. I asked him to close the windows. He did not. We arrived at the destination he said it was $50 but he turned off the meter. He wanted me to use my credit card but since there was no amount in the screen I refused. I paid him in cash. I’m very sick today from riding with the windows down. Never again. ### 1/5 — Pittsburgh airport ride scam *2025-10-16* So , I got scammed for 90$ by one of the ztrip driver. So my ride was from airport and I asked the ztrip cab and showed ber the address in my phone and she said it will cost around 40$ -50$ and then she started, By the time I realised I was going in wrong direction the taxi meter was around 45$ and then I asked her about the address and she said the address was not same . And after that I told her to stop at any of the gas station and the she deliberately missed all the exits and said that nearest gas station is 10 min away and the airport is 15mins away and I told her to take to airport and then I told her I don’t have more than 90$ because the meter was already 90$ by that time and after I said that she dropped me off at gas station and left me in the cold night. Again I need to call my friends to book a Uber for me . I booked a short trip and the driver couldn’t figure out how to get to me, so he marked that I was picked up (several miles away from my requested pick up point). I kept selecting, “No, I was not picked up,” and the trip canceled. Checked my bank this morning and they charged me $75! Luckily the bank disputed the charge and refunded me. Uber makes you pay before your ride even comes leaving you no way to reach customer service if something happens and they cancel on you . Which has happened to me more than once because the driver went to the wrong building to get me and then left when I didn’t come out. Driver did not even call me to ask where I was. Z trip always calls and I don’t have to pay until I reach my destination. AND I can pay in cash !!!!!!! Drivers have always been polite and considerate. I waited 30 minutes for a ride and the app was still trying to get a ride. I wanted to try it out because I see alot of them around town but they don’t seem to be readily available. On top of that the app doesn’t allow for me to see the menu properly not choose options on the white text menu.
