Only issue I have is watch complication updates. I think this is due to iOS restrictions. Other than that well done developer. ### 3/5 — No connections- no fix after weeks *2026-02-06, version 6.3.0* App updated to ignore old transmitters, but I no longer can find my new transmitter in the bluetooth search. It simply never connects, despite 20+ attempts and ways to try and get it to find it, including restarting my phone, force closing and then deleting and reinstalling the app and still nothing. Hope this is able to be fixed soon as this app was fantastic. EDIT: It has been 6+ weeks, and I still have to delete the app, reinstall it, turn bluetooth off and on multiple times, before it ever connects- and still, it’s about 24 straight hours of fiddling with settings and reinstalling before anything connects, and no updates to fix the issues have been pushed. It’s been this way EVERY time I put on a new sensor. The app is miserable and basically does not allow me to use my phone for over a day as the app needs to be in the foreground to make a connection. I loved this app but i’ll be holding out till another Xdrip app comes out that is more reliable and doesn’t cause so much headache. ### 5/5 — Great free app *2025-12-01, version 6.2.0* This is a well maintained app by a free software team. The publisher takes the free software and bundles it for the apple App Store. Costs money to keep licenses to do that and it is work. Hats off to the xdrip4ios team and the zukka publisher! From my experience, it works exactly the way Shuggah used to before it suddenly vanished from the App Store. The layout, the workflow, and the overall feel are virtually identical, which is ideal for anyone who relied on the previous app and wanted something that picked up where it left off. If you liked Shuggah, this delivers the same functionality and ease of use, and it’s been running smoothly for me. Zukka is awesome because it’ll keep me informed and the widgets on the home and Lock Screen are so helpful. It’s been great but recently it’s been all the sudden stopping my readings. Idk why. It’s still Bluetooth connected to my phone and dexcom and I need these readings. I go into 30’s in my sleep and I’m scared to sleep and not knowing if I’m low or not. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app over and over again until it finally decides to work. I use Freestyle libre EU and the signal keep disconnecting. Please can I suggest 2 small improvements *2026-06-28, version 6.3.1* Great programme, works very well, a huge improvement over the Freestyle libre app. There are only two small things that I would love to see in any future update. Support of NTF to download smart insulin (novopen 6) data. Also a quiet pre alarm, alarm. Maybe 30 seconds before the main alarm goes off for low, hi etc, could we have a quiet vibrate alert. Then 30 seconds later the current main noisy wake you up alarm. At night I’m often awake and would hopefully hear a quiet vibrate alert, 30 seconds before main alarm activates? It would give enough time to quickly check the reason for the alarm and silence the main alarm before the main alarm activates and wakes my wife up, who sleeps next to me. I’m finally able to make informed choices based on data verses flying blind. The integration can be a bit complicated at first and I’d like to see a more comprehensive write up on walking through integration. I absolutely love the GMI and HgA1C at a glance. BUT, Zukka has stayed connected the sensor the whole time and hasn’t lost any data. When I posted issue on their FB group page that I was having, they put out updates fixing the issues, so now I can directly put in what bludtooth name to connect to! For some reasons, this app is far more accurate in guestimating expecting HbA1C than dexcom clarity app that I had to use to share my data to clinic. Clarity’s guesstimate were way off, when it expected 5.8-6.0, at clinic came back as 5.0, which where zukka had guestimated 5.1! (happened over 13 months with 4 labs) I truly trust this app so I don't have to unnecessary get frustrated at my guesstimate HbA1C!
