## What is Zula Travel?

Point the phone. Zula names what is in front of you — how far, how long on foot, and whether it is open right now.

It is a compass, not a directory. Turn your body and the list turns with you, nearest first, in the direction you are actually facing.

WRITTEN, NOT SCRAPED
109 places across 23 regions in 15 countries, each one written by hand by somebody who went. No star ratings, no rankings, and nothing can pay to appear. A dated line from a person who was there last week beats a score out of five.

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
The catalogue lives on your phone. Anywhere you have already looked opens instantly in flight mode. No account is needed for any of it.

SAVE FROM ANYWHERE
Share a post, a reel or a dropped pin into Zula from any app. It arrives with its own picture, a way back to it, and room to write down why you kept it. If it is somewhere we have written about, Zula recognises it — on the phone, without sending your links anywhere to be identified. When it cannot tell, it says so and asks you later rather than guessing.

MAKE IT A TRIP
Put places, saved posts and notes into a plan. Add dates and days appear — but nothing has to have a day, because most of a trip is a pile of maybes until the week before. Zula knows where everything is and when you mean to be there, so it can tell you the gallery is shut on the Tuesday you picked, that four of these are a ten-minute walk apart, and what the whole thing comes to.

TRIPS SOMEBODY WALKED
22 itineraries, written end to end: the Inca Trail, Kilimanjaro by Machame, the Great Migration, the Cyclades by ferry, Stone Town and the north.

GOLDEN HOUR
One notification a day, at most, before the light goes — naming somewhere near you worth being at. Worked out on your phone, and the only thing Zula ever sends.

NO ANALYTICS, EVER
No tracking, no advertising, no account required. Your position and your heading are read on the phone and stay there. The one time Zula reaches out on your behalf is to fetch the preview picture for a link you saved, and you can switch that off.
