I work for an billing office. At times I use the app to make calls. I can be on a call and the app just crashes and the call is disconnected. Sometimes it takes hours of hold time to get in touch with certain companies. I have been unable to hear callers today and they have not been able to hear me. Worked fine for days, now this. Some people don’t experience this issue at all. The app regularly prevents me from answering calls or “glitches” so that a call pops up for a millisecond then disappears, even though the person is still calling. Additionally, much of our staff are working from home now due to COVID19 and need to be able to answer their extensions at home and the app behaves as above mentioned, or worse. One coworker, who covered support during my lunch shift, was muted for no apparent reason, no matter what we did. Her last day was yesterday, however, so that issue is no longer a problem. We have set up basically an internal grievance email for this app alone. Please update quickly as it is impeding our ability to work. ### 2/5 — Needs Improvement *2020-03-16, version 10.2* It would be nice if there was a way to pause receiving calls through the app (like Do Not Disturb on the desktop phone). I have on more than one occasion been in the middle of something in another app (like recording video) only to have Zultys take over the phone (and stop my recording). Also, if I don’t want to take a call I have to wait until the person hangs up because if I decline the call, 9 times out of 10 the person calls right back. ### 2/5 — Few bugs *2020-03-06, version 10.2* Once I sign in, I receive all calls even after logging out. Also half the time the calls I pick up I can’t hear (seems like no one on the other end). I only am notified of a new message or call if I have the app open and active on my screen, despite having my notification settings set to the highest level. My previous Fitbit would buzz whenever I would get incoming calls, which was helpful when I was walking around the office. I could just go straight to someone’s office while they were calling me. Also, and more important, when I log off, I still get phone calls. Almost everyone in our office has uninstalled the app because they can’t get the app to stop ringing even when logged off. This is the fatal flaw. ### 3/5 — Good, but wish it controlled MXIE desktop *2018-09-13, version 8.1* Lots of great improvements. I just wish it could act as a remote controller for MXIE on the desktop. At work I walk around the building with a wireless headset on. If I could answer on that wireless headset and use this app for call control, that would be excellent. Instead, I have to answer on my iPhone, and if I go back to my desk and want to swap back to desktop, I have to park the call and pick it back up. It would be nice if I could either control what MXIE/desk phone is doing, or at least switch the call between the two apps without having to park/pick up. Amended to 3 stars, because I just realized that my Apple Watch simply ignores incoming Zultys softphone calls. Constant issues and calls dropping, makes for a lot of wasted time at work ### 1/5 — Straight terrible *2022-07-14, version 10.4* Drops calls all the time. ### 1/5 — It just doesn’t really work reliably *2021-11-04, version 10.4* I’ve been using this for a few months now. I’ve gathered that I’m better off to send a carrier pigeon and would probably get more reliable results. The calls will drop for any reason, in areas with strong WiFi, 5G signal, it doesn’t seem to matter. The app will either crash or the call will just drop for no given reason. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and the app won’t even let you know someone is calling. I hope someone from this company wakes up and realizes their app is terrible. They need to redo the whole thing and test more. If you are considering Zultys, stay away for this mobile app is just terrible. UDP, TCP, advanced options, it all just doesn’t improve anything. ### 1/5 — Not Worth It *2021-07-08, version 10.4* This is app is next to useless. I travel for work on a regular basis. The call quality is scratchy at its best. The app regularly disconnects and requires a re-login. This happens during calls. Even with full cell phone LTE signal the app does not connect or answer calls. The app is just more trouble than it is worth. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous *2021-04-03, version 10.4* If I sign out of the app, it takes over an hour to sign back in. I have to sign out because regardless what my status is I still get calls. God forbid I try to use WiFi, calls are dropped or the app doesn’t connect. Ridiculous. Restarted the app several times and nothing. Not understand why this keeps happen in 2020 ### 1/5 — Cannot use off company WiFi *2020-10-15, version 10.4* When on company WiFi works good off company WiFi cannot answer calls it drops them almost every time. ### 1/5 — Calls not coming thru App *2019-10-15, version 9.2* With latest iOS 13.2 the App will occasionally answer a call but can’t hear the caller and have to switch App from Local to Remote mode and back again to get it to work. Reportedly our MX Server is all up to date so something is not right ### 1/5 — Never shuts off / dropped calls *2018-06-28, version 7.7* This never shuts off, I switched it off during vacation and it kept putting my calls through. It dropped calls and had a horrible lag during conversation. Local carrier is always having to pay for upgrades, and they delay, since there is so many. No need for DND button when I can set my presence to unavailable. I am able to login and out of groups with out an issue.
