### 3/5 — Good, few annoyances

*2016-05-02, version 3.0.0*

Would be useful if you could load plane data for new aircraft without logging out and in again.

Enter all registrations and airport codes in capitals, not first upper.

### 3/5 — Arrow screen navigation

*2014-06-10*

On an idevice? Really?

### 3/5 — Pretty good, could be a lot better

*2014-03-27*

I have used Zululog for several years now on my PC. It is excellent and I recommend it to all my friends. I found this app over a year ago and was exited because it can make data entry so much easier. Unfortunately, it doesn't.

My two biggest problems are the totals screen and the fact there isn't an iPad optimized app. With the iPad being such a major tool in the cockpit, it is rather annoying to have to switch to the iPhone when I want to input data. I have had many times where I enter information on my iPhone, and when I go back to the PC to check on it, the information populated incorrectly.

I think it would make sense to make an iPad version that had full functionality. Then have an iPhone version that was a more basic, stripped down app.

I also have to log in every time I want to use the app. It should be able to keep me logged in.

The last issue I have is that when I look at the Totals page, it just isn't correct. And this is comparing the app to the actual website. Should be a simple easy fix, I just hope it happens.

Again, I love the website and think it is the best electronic log out there. I even use the paid version just because I want to support them. Just please fix the app!

### 4/5 — Like it!

*2012-06-08*

All I need on the phone!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unable to cancel subscription

*2024-03-21*

After trying the platinum version of the account and not finding it useful as I thought I asked for the cancellation. There is no way you can cancel the subscription even on the website and after contacting the support without any reply I got charged.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2016-02-24*

Downloaded app and signed up for account. Crashed on first attempt to log on. Not able to log anything, just a dark screen.

### 1/5 — Very unintuitive and difficult to use

*2012-09-30, version 1.1.0*

Ample task made extremely tedious unnecessarily...

### 2/5 — Not what I was hoping for....

*2012-04-25*

I've been eagerly awaiting the release of this app because I love the Zululog website interface and I was excited about having that same functionality on my iPhone and iPad. This app is nothing like the website in terms of user friendliness. Should definitely be able to see total hours, etc. The graphics are low quality and the interface isn't intuitive or user-friendly. Definitely doesn't make the most of apple's products. Hopefully the next update will be a 180 from this app...

### 2/5 — Needs a lot of work

*2012-04-17*

Even as a free app, this is a poor effort. I love their website and was expecting more of the same. The interface and icons need a lot more work; they're far too plain and it makes navigating seem dull and less intuitive. No flight hour totals column and there's no way to enter ground training from the app.

### 2/5 — Very Basic

*2012-03-31*

This app has a way to go.

### 2/5 — Not what I expected

*2012-03-30*

Def not the app I was expecting from such a great web site.. You can't even see your totals

### 3/5 — This needs some serious upgrades.

*2020-02-09*

In today’s world of aviation, we need more portability. While the web interface is fantastic, ZuluLog’s app is seriously behind the curve. With the right updates, this could blow many other logbook apps out of the water. Firstly, automatic syncing is super important. The ability to access many of the same features and options as the online interface is also important.

I love this logbook. While ZuluLog is my primary digital logbook, I absolutely cannot stand its app. Get it together guys! It’s 2020!

### 3/5 — Arrive Date time group

*2019-01-21*

Why can I not add my block in times while using the iPhone or iPad mobile apps?

Also, importing from crewtrac is a nightmare

### 3/5 — Location issues with iOS 11

*2017-10-01*

The iOS 11 location setting keeps reverting to “NEVER” if I set it to “ALWAYS” and the app thus can’t find nearby airports or log my GPS track saying “This screen will refresh when a location update is received from the device” . The app also does not show up among all other apps in the first-level settings page. Is it failing to register itself?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Highly recommended

*2017-01-24*

Syncs with all devices for free. Use it to track all of my Part 121 flights and to go to interviews. Prints out perfectly. Love love love this app!

### 5/5 — Very happy with this log book

*2016-03-24*

Great app for pilots. The ability to log flights easily, and report on them later, is awesome.

### 5/5 — Well done

*2014-08-25*

Fairly spartan when compared with all the options available on the web version, particularly the Platinum features, but that's not a bad thing. Quick and easy to enter flight info and sync with Zululog online. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Sync works great

*2014-07-17*

App doesn't seem quite as polished as the website but it's great to have the data on mobile. Nice tools too.

Swiping left/right or horizontal scroll would be better than the nav arrows.

### 4/5 — They have come along way 5 years

*2018-05-07*

Excellent customer service and while there app based software is dated compared to other services out there (would love to see a updated app version) there main focus was web-based which is highly detailed.

### 4/5 — Not bad for a free app

*2017-04-11*

You can't go wrong with free. Better than buying a log book app I use it to log my 141 flight school pic and inst approaches as well as glider time. Pain in the butt to sign off each flight, not very user friendly when it comes to adding simulator time. Just overall I would like this to be more like the apps you pay for. You get what you pay for with this app. So far pretty positive review.

### 4/5 — Does the trick!

*2016-01-21*

I use the free version as an electronic log book, does the trick. It's not fancy, no frills, but it's a nice backup for my paper log.

### 4/5 — Great App

*2014-06-10*

Great entry into the App world. Very user friendly and syncs well with the online version.

### 4/5 — Great App.... For the IPhone

*2013-07-08*

Love using the iPhone app but they need to make one for the iPad as well. I use my iPad for my charts so it would be handy to be able to open Zululog and it displays like it was made FOR the iPad. Please make this?

### 4/5 — Great - but missing PIC Name

*2012-11-25*

Hi - great app! It's just missing one thing - the PIC name.. Mostly it will be "self" but it could also be an instructor or someone else if you are SIC or crew. You do have a spot for crew/pax names, but what's needed on the main page is PIC Name (drop down or free format) - this is required in logbooks. Hope you can add it? I would have used your feedback option, but it didn't work?
