Unbelievabley BAD ### 2/5 — App never works. Service is Terrible! Damaged goods delivered *2026-03-17* If you like being charged a R45 premium for priority delivery and then Still having “the driver has a stop along the way”. Or if you are a fan of an app that cannot live report location of driver and update arrival times. This one is for you! ### 2/5 — Poor service *2025-02-25, version 4.0.10* Whoever answers the contact desk is an absolute waste of time and never answers calls. You’ll be number 1 in the call queue for over 30 minutes as if you’re calling the bank. Deliveries sometimes run over an hour late with no message from Zulzi with regards to whatever the issue is. And there’s nobody to contact ### 3/5 — Great Service but the app glitches *2025-02-07, version 4.0.10* I love the service that is provided, how quick the delivery is, the availability of items, etc. But the app always glitches. I find myself not being able to change my location, pick items or like now - not being able to even use the app once it’s open - like I can’t press anything. It’s just stuck. Please fix it. ### 4/5 — Too much popup texts I can’t disable. *2024-03-10, version 3.3.45* It’s a good app but it keep sending unsolicited texts on my phone screen. Unfortunately I can’t deactivate notifications because sometimes I would want to know order status. They should categorize notifications and give options to disable some. Other than that, the service and delivery is great. ### 4/5 — Comment and a Question *2023-11-05, version 3.0.41* Great app, use it frequently, I’d say once a week at least. I would use it more if it had vape and tobacco products, but if I have to drive to the garage, I just get what I needed there. Surely if you can sell alcohol and S2 medication you can sell vape and tobacco products. ### 2/5 — 15 mins delivery is a lie *2023-10-31, version 3.0.40* If you’re hoping to get your groceries in 15 mins, forget about it. Try Checkers60 or PnP, much faster delivery and they don’t claim to deliver in 15 like Zulzi. Also, forget any updates on late deliveries, they don’t bother to let you know when your order is going to be late. ### 2/5 — App never works. S ### 4/5 — Excellent service *2023-05-10, version 3.0.29* Their products are fresh and affordable, better yet, my items are always delivered in a matter of minutes. ### 4/5 — Great Concept…Improvement Needed *2023-04-02, version 3.0.25* The Zulzi concept is great and speed of service is excellent! I love just outside one of their main delivery areas and get my orders in 20-25 mins which is great (not inside their promised 15 mins - rather under promise and over deliver Zulzi). The app itself is not very intuitive. I find that while it works fine, the UX definitely needs some work to bring it up to the levels of some of their competitors. I would love to see a slightly broader product selection, more items in stock more often, and a ‘specials’ page which can be filtered by category. Will continue to support and excited to see the Zulzi evolution come alive! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad service *2025-12-05, version 4.24.54* Not sure how they got this starting. Just check their online reviews you will be shocked . Worst service ever. Thank god we have other similar apps opening in South Africa one such is called YASSIR, excellent service. For medication I can’t get the name of the app it’s Pretoria based with the most helpful pharmacist. ZulZi thinks they doing a favour to you. Worst service ever. Don’t fall for 20 mins delivery. I am a 1st time app user and I really found the app user friendly BUT the problem began with the delivery lady calling me and talking to me so rudely and load with so much disrespect. I had to even walk a block away to collect my order and still she gave me attitude and disrespect. I am super disappointed and upset. Her service and image she portray for this APP is very poor and disgusting ### 1/5 — Frustrating app or store whatever this Zulzi is… *2024-10-26, version 4.0.9* Just got a call now saying they’ll cancel my order, I’ve ordered before and now they say they don’t deliver where I stay they have delivery before not once not twice. Anyway they can cancel but I need my refund asap so that I can delete this app because it’s useless ### 1/5 — The worst! *2024-08-03, version 4.0.6* I’ve ordered a few times before and each time I order the delivery time gets longer instead of better. Today was the final one, it’s been two hours!!! Two whole hours yet there’s still no delivery. She said she was at the gate over 15 minutes ago but she still hasn’t gotten here. This is the last time I place an order. I’m deleting the app even. It would’ve been easier to just go to the garage myself. ### 1/5 — Terrible Service all round *2023-05-03, version 3.0.29* I placed an order of 9 items, which included 750g of coffee. When the order was delivered, I instead received 500g of coffee. I emailed them for a refund then got the worst service ever. They called me to organise an exchange and I tried to tell them that today am not available then they pressured me to take a refund of the difference without even going an extra mile for their inconvenience. The refund can’t be withdrawn and can only be used on the app. It’s trash ### 1/5 — Bad customer service *2023-02-16, version 3.0.25* I was double billed during an order I placed almost two weeks ago and called the customer service number for assistance and the lady said they will fix the issue in 5-7 working days. 10 days later no refund was made and now their customer service number is not going through and there’s no feedback from any of their team and just like that I paid for air! ### 1/5 — One star do not recommend *2021-12-24, version 3.0.13* Unusable app. The new update is shocking. Cannot order from Woolworths anymore. Very disappointed ### 1/5 — Use Woolies Dash instead! *2021-12-03, version 3.0.11* I used Zulzi back when they had a partnership with Woolies and Dis-Chen but now that they’ve no longer got that, this app is unusable and quite frankly terrible. Deliveries take way too long to arrive and have, on more than one occasion, taken upwards of three hours for just a few items. Do not use this app anymore. Woolworths has their own delivery app called Woolies Dash and it’s brilliant. Zulzi, fix your app. Make it easy to select the shop I’d like to buy from, add a favourites tab, fix your delivery times and perhaps that will be enough to bring customers back. I am all about convenience, and if it comes with efficiency and a stellar service, then there’s no turning back for me. Zulzi keeps exceeding my expectations. From how they handle complaints, to their quick deliveries; I am impressed. ### 5/5 — Great service from Zulzi. I don’t know any other store/app that offers this. If you’ve forgotten the milk/ bread/ coffee etc or feel like a treat after dinner, this is fantastic! Although they don’t hit the 15min mark, they are very speedy! I also appreciate that they tend to mark products that are out of stock as such and even call to suggest an alternative. I’ve been using them for a year now and am thankful for their offering. I didn’t use it before the model changed so this works well for me. It’s also great that you can send a msg to them directly on the app with their messages feature. ### 5/5 — Review *2023-05-21, version 3.0.30* Amazing and they literally deliver in 15 minutes. What’s worse is that after 8pm you absolutely cannot do anything, you can’t call anyone, you can’t reach the driver you just sit and wait with no explanation, you cannot even rate the service or write feedback, which means they don’t care about improving their app, nor do they care what their customers think.
