Then, I realized that it charges your card as a backup and then refund it later ### 1/5 — Couldn’t process payment *2025-02-26, version 1.1.30415* App does not work ### 1/5 — Be wary of overcharging *2025-02-11, version 1.1.30415* Avoid using this app. We were significantly overcharged on the advertised price for our bike hire and are waiting on a response from customer support. ### 1/5 — $265 before I knew what I was being charged. *2025-01-06* I signed up for the app, read the terms of service, and checked out a bike using a QR reader. At no point was I shown a rental rate. While riding the bike you are not shown what the cost of your ride is. Even after returning the bike you aren’t sent an email (nor is one shown in the app) with math behind a charge. The emailed receipt is formatted so poorly that gmail thought it was spam/junk. I genuinely thought the bike might’ve been an amenity included with my hotel. I had to check my credit card to see what the cost was. $265?! I could’ve taken a limo for that price. **Edit 2 months after posting my review** In response to the developer’s comment… YES..I am leaving this for the correct app. NO…your app did not show an active charge price anywhere within the app while using. Additionally, the emailed receipt doesn’t even provide math for how the “Rental Fee” was calculated, so whether the max rental duration is 6 hours or not is irrelevant. This is a great example of A) not knowing your own product and B) not listening to user feedback. Given that you’re in tech it’s hard to believe you’re still in business with that approach. **Developer response:** Hi there, we are not sure if you are leaving a review for the correct App. The hourly price is shown while in use. It is displayed prior to renting as well. Email receipts are sent and there is also your rider history that can be seen. We also cap all our rates at 6 hours, so it’s not possible that you were charged this amount. Kindly email Help@RideZybra.com with your info and we will gladly check on it for you to confirm. This surpased our trips spending limit and forced us to buy street food. Also not to mention we had to go to check up my fiancés back due to him flipping off the bike and getting hit by a car. The app was very easy to maneuver. I went out for breakfast and was able to park right in front of the restaurant beside me. After that, I took it back to the hotel and ended the rental with no issues. I definitely recommend trying it out—you can use the bike lanes around the city, which makes it even better for bikers. ### 5/5 — Worked well *2025-12-16* I could see the price, add a coupon from the hotel for a free hour, and rent the bike.
