It works ok, sound quality is reasonable considering the scenario, but there seems to be a connection problem between the headset and the app—the app doesn’t register that I’ve done any workouts or any swims at all, even though i get the audio notification saying it’s tracking my laps. I track distance using a separate app on my Apple Watch, so I do have that record. I’ve been in touch with customer service who are quite slow to respond (takes about a week to get an answer) and they just seem mystified. I’d really like this to work like it should, but I’m pretty disappointed so far. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2025-11-29, version 7.0.4* I have six e-mail addresses. I used the most frequently used to down load the App. Go was able to use the e-mail address to process the bill and to BOMBARD me with marketing. Now the problem. In spite of billing me and marketing to me, Zygo wanted me to confirm the address. More than a dozen attempts and no confirmation link. I sent (more than once) another try with EACH of my other e-mails. The confirmation link NEVER arrived! (Sigh. Yes, I checked the “junk” file as well as the inbox). The “customer service” was nothing more than e-mailing me ( do you see the irony?) a pre-paid return label. Bottom line? Make sure the App works before you order the product. The one star is for customer service. Obviously, I am in no position to comment on the product. ### 5/5 — Great Customer Service *2025-08-13, version 7.0.4* I have had my Zygo2 for about six months now. In the first couple of months, I was having issues with it, turning off by itself. I wrote a review about it and Charlie with Zygo reached out to me. He sent me a new unit and I have not had any issues since then. I love it! Hard to swim without it now! ### 3/5 — Getting better *2025-07-19, version 7.0.4* The software continues to improve. Makes pool swimming less boring. Would purchase the subscription if family sharing was enabled. Too much for me and wife to both have subscriptions. ### 1/5 — Good idea but still needs more maturing as a technology *2024-09-17, version 6.0.9* I could not even use the App sufficiently to make a comprehensive assessment as the device worn out very fast (after couple of months of daily usage). I think the principles and the idea are great. But the current device is not durable enough and the App feels like work in progress. ### 1/5 — It stopped working after five uses *2024-06-25, version 6.0.9* It started off decent, my only complaint in the first two swims was that it would lose connection near the opposite side of the pool. After three uses, I got static and then by five uses it stopped working all together. I communicated with the company via email, they sent them outside my 90 day warranty. And they can give me a 20% discount on a future unit. Totally unacceptable. ### 1/5 — Don’t buy *2024-05-05, version 6.0.8* This product is not good. It doesn’t work well. It starts fine in the first minute, then stops. I regret having paid 299 for it. ### 1/5 — Zygo Solo Headset *2024-03-08, version 6.0.7* I purchased the Zygo. I liked it very much at first. After about 10 uses, the headset would not hold a charge and I had to charge it just before use for at least an hour which was a bit of a hassle but still worth it. Then shortly after, the headset stopped receiving sound unless I was at the edge of the pool right next to the transmitter. I reached out to Zygo they communicated with me back and forth, had me send them a picture of me wearing the headset, said the receiver antenna can become stressed if worn wrong, but they said it looked like I was wearing it correctly BUT the warranty was up SO they offered me 20% off an upgrade. ### 1/5 — Nothing but trouble... want it to work *2024-02-15, version 6.0.7* The headset does not hold a charge and won't turn on at the pool after charging overnight (light shows charging). Even when I was using it, the headset died at 45% battery (shown in app). The headset wouldn't power on yesterday again, and when I gave it a small charge (5min) I was able to turn it on and it said 75%! So no, it was charged but my headset wouldn't power on. I'm so frustrated with my Lemon. Please send me a new headset, I really want to see your company successful but must be honest about the product I received. It's worked once, out of 5 swims, and I liked it... ### 1/5 — Lack of customer service *2023-12-11, version 6.0.6* There is zero customer support for this product.
