# Decision vs Snippety

The clearest difference is rating: Snippety at 4.8 against Decision's 3.0. Snippety also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 weeks). Decision's advantage is monetization model (free vs paid) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Decision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Snippety sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Snippety holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snippety has 72 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Decision's written reviews are positive against 88% of Snippety's.

Decision ships an update every 4 weeks, Snippety every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
