# Tap Stacks vs Opp Ball

Tap Stacks and Opp Ball both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Tap Stacks's written reviews are positive against 9% of Opp Ball's. Opp Ball's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 11). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tap Stacks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Opp Ball sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Tap Stacks against 4.6 for Opp Ball. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Opp Ball has 1.3K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Tap Stacks's written reviews are positive against 9% of Opp Ball's.

Tap Stacks ships an update every 3 months, Opp Ball every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
