# Pic FX Editor vs Anime Power FX

The clearest difference is rating: Anime Power FX at 4.6 against Pic FX Editor's 3.7. Anime Power FX also leads on ratings volume (3.5K vs 9). Pic FX Editor's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and review sentiment (92% vs 70%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pic FX Editor sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Anime Power FX sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anime Power FX holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anime Power FX has 3.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Pic FX Editor's written reviews are positive against 70% of Anime Power FX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pic FX Editor ships an update every 2 months, Anime Power FX every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
