# Cité Mémoire vs Flashback

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flashback at fortnightly against Cité Mémoire's every 3 months. Cité Mémoire's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cité Mémoire ships an update every 3 months, Flashback fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
