# izzi vs Totalplay Control

The clearest difference is rating: izzi at 4.3 against Totalplay Control's 2.5. izzi also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 15). Totalplay Control's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and review sentiment (19% vs 7%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

izzi holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: izzi has 2.7K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of izzi's written reviews are positive against 19% of Totalplay Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

izzi ships an update weekly, Totalplay Control every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
