# izzi vs Aguakan

The clearest difference is rating: izzi at 4.3 against Aguakan's 1.1. izzi also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 20). Aguakan's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

izzi holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: izzi has 2.8K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of izzi's written reviews are positive against 8% of Aguakan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

izzi ships an update weekly, Aguakan every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
