# Blackjack 21! vs Blackjack Trainer

The clearest difference is ads: Blackjack Trainer at none against Blackjack 21!'s shown. Blackjack Trainer also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Blackjack 21!'s advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blackjack 21! sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Blackjack Trainer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blackjack Trainer holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blackjack 21! has 6.1K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Blackjack 21! ships an update every 3 months, Blackjack Trainer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
