# HelloChinese vs Practice Chinese Speaking

The clearest difference is ads: HelloChinese at none against Practice Chinese Speaking's shown. HelloChinese also leads on ratings volume (24K vs 23) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HelloChinese sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Practice Chinese Speaking sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
