# Bored Panda vs Scroll Smarter

The clearest difference is rating: Scroll Smarter at 4.6 against Bored Panda's 3.6. Scroll Smarter also leads on review sentiment (51% vs 13%) and ratings volume (15K vs 1.3K). Bored Panda's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scroll Smarter holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scroll Smarter has 15K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of Bored Panda's written reviews are positive against 51% of Scroll Smarter's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
