# Knack vs HexLabs

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Knack at 2.2K against HexLabs's 8. Knack also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). HexLabs's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Knack against 4.9 for HexLabs. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knack has 2.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
