# Knack vs Aethron Study

The clearest difference is rating: Knack at 4.9 against Aethron Study's 4.3. Knack also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 3). Aethron Study's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aethron Study sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Knack asks for nothing beyond the download.

Knack holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knack has 2.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Knack's written reviews are positive against 100% of Aethron Study's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
