# Brightspace Pulse vs Mount Mercy University

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mount Mercy University at 100% against Brightspace Pulse's 36%. Mount Mercy University also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Brightspace Pulse's advantage is ratings volume (272K vs 109) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brightspace Pulse holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brightspace Pulse has 272K ratings behind it against 109, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Brightspace Pulse's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mount Mercy University's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brightspace Pulse ships an update fortnightly, Mount Mercy University monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
