# Brightspace Pulse vs UTRGV

Brightspace Pulse and UTRGV both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of UTRGV's written reviews are positive against 36% of Brightspace Pulse's. UTRGV also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Brightspace Pulse's advantage is ratings volume (271K vs 717) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Brightspace Pulse against 4.8 for UTRGV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brightspace Pulse has 271K ratings behind it against 717, so its average is the more settled of the two.
