# Quimbee vs Pace Safe

The clearest difference is rating: Quimbee at 4.8 against Pace Safe's 3.1. Quimbee also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 15). Pace Safe's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quimbee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Pace Safe asks for nothing beyond the download.

Quimbee holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quimbee has 2.5K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Quimbee's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pace Safe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Quimbee ships an update fortnightly, Pace Safe every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
