# Quimbee vs Cooley

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cooley at none against Quimbee's 2. Cooley also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (14.2 vs 18.0). Quimbee's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quimbee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cooley asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cooley holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quimbee has 2.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Quimbee ships an update fortnightly, Cooley every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
