# Quimbee vs Spreeder

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Quimbee at 2.5K against Spreeder's 417. Spreeder's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quimbee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Spreeder sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Quimbee against 4.7 for Spreeder. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quimbee has 2.5K ratings behind it against 417, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Quimbee's written reviews are positive against 80% of Spreeder's.

Quimbee ships an update fortnightly, Spreeder monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
