# EYExcel vs Power Apps

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EYExcel at 100% against Power Apps's 35%. EYExcel also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Power Apps's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (23K vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Power Apps holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Apps has 23K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of EYExcel's written reviews are positive against 35% of Power Apps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EYExcel ships an update every 9 days, Power Apps weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
