# YRC Setting vs Paddys

The clearest difference is update cadence: Paddys at every 3 weeks against YRC Setting's every 7 months. YRC Setting's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YRC Setting ships an update every 7 months, Paddys every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
