# FlashAcademy Language Learning vs BeLingual

The clearest difference is monetization model: BeLingual at free with in-app purchases against FlashAcademy Language Learning's subscription. BeLingual also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). FlashAcademy Language Learning's advantage is ratings volume (259 vs 36). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlashAcademy Language Learning sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and BeLingual sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for FlashAcademy Language Learning against 4.3 for BeLingual. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlashAcademy Language Learning has 259 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of FlashAcademy Language Learning's written reviews are positive against 60% of BeLingual's.

FlashAcademy Language Learning ships an update fortnightly, BeLingual every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
