# Area Quiz vs 3 Rings

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 3 Rings at none against Area Quiz's 2. 3 Rings also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). Area Quiz's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1) and device support. On price and rating there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Area Quiz sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. 3 Rings asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Area Quiz against 5.0 for 3 Rings. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Area Quiz has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
