# Basketball Time vs Dunkers

The clearest difference is rating: Dunkers at 3.6 against Basketball Time's 3.1. Dunkers also leads on ratings volume (481 vs 30). Basketball Time's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dunkers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Basketball Time asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dunkers holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dunkers has 481 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Basketball Time's written reviews are positive against 47% of Dunkers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Basketball Time ships an update fortnightly, Dunkers every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
