# WorkTime vs Check

The clearest difference is rating: Check at 5.0 against WorkTime's 4.4. Check also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.0). WorkTime's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 4) and review sentiment (59% vs 40%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Check asks for nothing beyond the download.

Check holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 4.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of WorkTime's written reviews are positive against 40% of Check's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WorkTime ships an update every 3 weeks, Check every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
