# WorkTime vs Calendar

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Calendar at none against WorkTime's 7. Calendar also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (75% vs 59%). WorkTime's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 28). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for WorkTime against 4.5 for Calendar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 4.7K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of WorkTime's written reviews are positive against 75% of Calendar's.

WorkTime ships an update every 3 weeks, Calendar weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
