# WorkTime vs Lyt WorkShift

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lyt WorkShift at none against WorkTime's 7. WorkTime's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 10). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Lyt WorkShift asks for nothing beyond the download.

WorkTime holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 4.7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WorkTime ships an update every 3 weeks, Lyt WorkShift every 26 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
