# WorkTime vs Megashift・Shift Work Calendar

The clearest difference is ads: WorkTime at none against Megashift・Shift Work Calendar's shown. WorkTime also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 33%) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 6). Megashift・Shift Work Calendar's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Megashift・Shift Work Calendar sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Megashift・Shift Work Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 4.7K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of WorkTime's written reviews are positive against 33% of Megashift・Shift Work Calendar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WorkTime ships an update every 3 weeks, Megashift・Shift Work Calendar fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
