# Hayat vs HKM

The clearest difference is rating: HKM at 5.0 against Hayat's 4.4. HKM also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). Hayat's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HKM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hayat has 30 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hayat ships an update monthly, HKM every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
