# MORPH vs Face Swap

The clearest difference is monetization model: Face Swap at free with in-app purchases against MORPH's subscription. Face Swap also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). MORPH's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MORPH sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Face Swap sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MORPH holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4.9K and 1.7K respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 49% and 49% positive.

MORPH ships an update weekly, Face Swap every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
