# Parc Astérix vs Traumatica

The clearest difference is rating: Traumatica at 5.0 against Parc Astérix's 3.1. Parc Astérix's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Traumatica holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parc Astérix has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Parc Astérix's written reviews are positive against 56% of Traumatica's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Parc Astérix ships an update fortnightly, Traumatica every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
